Michael Barshinger

Chief Executive Officer

Under Michael Barshinger’s direction, Profisciencē Partners, a company he founded, has grown to become the leading provider of performance management solutions to law firms around the world. The company has grown over 200% the past three years and boasts more than 70 customers.

Michael is focused on continuing Profisciencē Partner’s innovation and leadership. Profisciencē Partner’s goal is to provide performance management solutions that lead law firms to improved performance. Variously described as focused, passionate, and sincere, Michael has infused Profisciencē Partners with his own brand of energetic leadership, vision and spirit.

Michael lives in Dallas, Texas, but he grew up near Philadelphia where his father worked in a manufacturing facility as a quality assurance engineer at Caterpillar Inc. After studying Computer Science at the University Of Maryland, he worked for SRA International as a consultant to top law firms, helping them incorporate personal computing into mainstream use by legal secretaries and attorneys. Before starting Profisciencē Partners, Michael worked for Haynes and Boone LLP where he played a pivotal role in its transformation into the highest ranking firm for its use of technology according to American Lawyer magazine.

Kim Fields

Director of Product Management, SkillSite

As Director of Product Management for SkillSite, Kim brings together her deep knowledge of Microsoft Office products and her extensive experience in the legal industry to guide the product development of SkillSite, Profiscience Partners’ web-based platform for implementing and tracking competency-based assessments.

Just prior to joining Profisciencē Partners, Kim was part of the Microsystems team, working with both law firm and life science customers to implement and customize software for document assembly, document analysis, and document conversion. Kim also worked for Perfect Access Speer as Manager of Application Development, leading the effort to partner with legal software vendors such as SoftWise, Esquire Innovations, and The Sackett Group to create a document production environment that facilitates high quality document production.

Known by her peers as the “Quincy” of document forensics, Kim is a highly valued expert in her field. Kim holds a B.S. degree from Tennessee Tech University and lives in Dallas, Texas.

Theresa Lundquist

Chief Learning Officer

Theresa Lundquist is the chief learning strategist for Profisciencē Partners and is responsible for engineering solutions that assist organizations in defining, operating and optimizing their strategic learning initiatives. As a veteran in the legal industry, she has over 25 years experience working as a consultant to Seagate Technology, Medtronic, and numerous AMLaw 200 law firms to help them optimize learning through the use of innovative techniques and technologies.

Before joining Profisciencē Partners, Theresa was the General Manager for Perfect Access Speer (Kaplan IT Learning) and prior to that role also served as the company’s Vice President of Education, developing education strategies, adult learning initiatives, and designing customized skill assessments for law firms in the United States.

As an active voice on the subject of workplace performance improvement, Theresa has authored several articles, including The Strategic Link to Learning, Developing Effective Client Service Teams, Training Tailored for the Busy Attorney, Planning Your Office 2007/2010 Strategy? Think Again!, and Surviving the Recession: Drive Organizational Efficiency to Protect Competitive Advantage. She is a frequent speaker to the legal industry and also delivers professional development workshops on leadership, communication, and time management.

She holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science from Northwestern College and is a member of the American Society of Training and Development and the International Society of Performance Improvement, and lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Daniel Wallace

Director of Product Management, UniversitySite

Prior to joining Profisciencē Partners as Director of Product Management for UniversitySite, Daniel worked for a law firm for 4 years where he used Profisciencē Partners' products on a daily basis and distinguished himself for his technical competence and commitment to excellence in customer service. He is a true "Super User" and enjoys his client facing role because he loves to serve as an advocate for the customer. Daniel has a passion for service excellence which drives him to continually seeks ways to improve the user experience in the our products. His role was recently expanded to encompass his oversight of the UniversitySite product direction as well.

Daniel lives in Dallas, Texas and has a Master of Arts in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics from Talbot School of Theology.
